MISSION STATEMENT: The goal of Equine Eagles is to provide an atmosphere of fun and accomplishment. For the equine partner to change limitations to expectations of feeling free like an eagle.

Equine Eagles is a facility involved in physio and phsycio-therapy as well as teaching vaulting, English, Western and Dressage riding. We also offer activities for special occasions and conduct teaching and riding seminars for groups. We are rurally located in Kansas between Coffeyville and Independence.

Some of the benefits to the mind and body are to:

Achieve physical, psychological, cognitive, behavioral and communication goals.
Use the horse as a strong motivator
Learn skills needed for sport that also achieves therapeutic and recreational goals.
Emphasize enjoyment and relaxation that benefits areas of socialization, posture, mobility and an overall improved quality of life.
Being able to participate in horse-related activities to maximum ability in an atmosphere of support, structure and socialization.

Equine Eagles staff has over ten (10) years combined experience working with able-bodied, the mentally and physically challenged. We have done habilitation training of developmentally disabled individuals and SED youth.

We are interested in all inquires concerning riding or therapeutic sessions. We work with disadvantaged youth who need a help with self-esteem and responsibilty. Therapeutic riding is also beneficial for rehab for stroke or accident victims. We will be available to speak to individuals or groups.

Poem: Equine Eagles

What started as a wishful prayer turned into reality.
Now thanks to God,
a place of miracles does exist on earth.
Each challenge is a test that needs to be conquered,
None of these challenges is too great that it can't be overcome
with trust and true genuine love,
which flows freely without hesitation
for anyone who will allow themselves to be caught up in it's embrace.

No one is expected to do anything but their best.
A place where God has given the horse
his strength to aid us in this journey,
clothed his neck with a flowing mane,
and can also make the eagle soar on His command.

Blessed are the ones who devote their time and talents
to this amazing cause.
Blessed is this place.
Blessed is Equine Eagles.
