Consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you." Romans 11:18b
We give all glory and honor to our Father G-d for allowing us to be part of this work. He alone has chosen each of us to touch across the miles, and be drawn by HIS Holy Spirit. There is only One True G-d! Blessed be His Name!
Shema Israel!
Note: Why do some of our authors spell the Name of G-d with a hyphen? Is this a mistake? No. We are simply adhering to the custom of traditional Judaism which forbids us from speaking or completely writing the proper name of G-d, or L-rd (sometimes translated Jehovah in English) in order to insure that it is not desecrated. We continue this practice in their writing in order to not offend our readers.

HaYDid Learning Centers vision is to work within three areas of support to the associate teaching ministries: (1) seminars and conferences, (2) publishing, and (3) the Learning Center comprised of an extensive teaching website and a supplemental teaching materials catalog. We believe in effective use of our volunteers and in soliciting for prayer support. If everyone will pray & be obedient to what they are hearing from God, there should be no lack. Praise the LORD.
Pray and obey!
Statement of Faith
*Revised September 1997
We believe that the Holy Scriptures are composed of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Covenants. We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the inspired word of God, without error in their original manuscripts; the complete revelation of God's will for salvation, "valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correction of faults, and training in right living" (2 Timothy 3:16). The Holy Scriptures are the final authority in all matters, spiritual and personal, in this ministry.
We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things; infinite, perfect, and eternal, without equal. We believe God to be all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-present, existent in The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, as One. We believe that God is Holy and requires His people to be Holy and to separate themselves unto Him.
We believe the Lord is the Savior of all humankind. We believe in the absolute deity and humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach). We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, and in His miracles. We believe the Lord came to earth to submit Himself perfectly unto the will of His Father in heaven and to shed His blood to become "the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). We believe that the Lord died, went to the place of torment, and bodily rose in victory on the third day; ascended into heaven, sits on the right hand of God-The-Father as our Priest and Advocate and will return to establish His Kingdom with its headquarters in Jerusalem.
We believe in The Holy Spirit and that The Holy Spirit is at work in our present day. We believe it is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to glorify the Lord, to convict of sin, to show judgment, to show righteousness (John 16:8-13). We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers giving instruction and enabling godly living and service. We believe in the work and presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer and that God manifests the gift, power, and authority of His Holy Spirit in the life of each believer in diverse ways. We believe the Holy Spirit has gifts for the edification of all believers and endues them as He wills (I Corinthians 12:4).
We believe man is created in the image of God. That man fell into sin following Adam's disobedience. We believe unless man accepts the Lord as his personal Savior he is condemned to eternal damnation. We believe that following salvation by grace through faith we should uphold the Torah and the commandments of God, if we love Jesus with all our heart (John 14:15, Romans 3:31, 7:22, Galatians 3:21-22, I John 5:1-3), and teach His truth to others (Matthew 5:17-19, Revelation 22:13-14).
We believe the Biblical Feasts are God's Feasts and are a shadow of things to come revealing the redemptive plan of God through Jesus Christ as Messiah (Leviticus 23:2,4, Colossians 2:16-17).
We believe in water immersion by one's self in the presence of witnesses as performed by John and continued into the second century is a personal witness of one's rebirth in Messiah Jesus. However, we do not believe immersion/baptism itself is a prerequisite for salvation.
We believe in the resurrection of the saved and their eternal life with God. We believe in the resurrection of the lost and their eternal separation from God. We believe in the personal, pre-millennial, and imminent Second Coming of the Lord for His body of believers past and present, before the time of God's wrath on earth (Isaiah 26:20,21). We believe in a literal Messianic Kingdom on earth for a period of one thousand years.
We believe there is a universal body of believers consisting of all people; past, present, and future, who believe in the Lord as Savior. We hold Y'shua as the head of this ministry. We believe that the "middle wall of partition" is being broken down so that Jew and Gentile may worship the one God of Israel together (I Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 2:13,14).
We believe the Good News about the Lord must be shared with all who have not yet accepted Him (Matthew 28:19,20). We believe His message must be shared with "the Jew first" (Romans 1:16 [indicating primary emphasis]). We believe both Jew and Gentile need the Lord's work of redemption to be delivered from death to eternal life.
We believe the State of Israel is the God ordained homeland of the Jewish people. We believe God has given this land to the physical descendants of Abraham, through Isaac and Jacob. We believe every Jew has an inheritance in the Holy Land. We believe God has an end time plan for Israel that will culminate with the return of the Lord.
Tolerance Statement
The spiritual head of HaY'Did (The Friend) Ministries is Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) as directed by the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). The central focus of this ministry is to share knowledge of the Jewish roots of Scripture with all who seek spiritual truth. This ministry seeks to bring together Jew and non-Jew, believer and non-believer to examine Scriptural truth as presented in its Jewish context.
To fulfill our mission statement,"To teach, educate, and equip both the Jew and the non-Jew for study in the rich Biblical/Jewish roots of our faith," we must establish guidelines allowing others the freeedom to fellowship without legalism or intolerance. Legalism and intolerance hinder the work of the Holy Spirit in drawing individuals into a loving and personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach), and into a deeper understanding of Scriptural truth. Only God's Holy Spirit may convict a person to make life-changing decisions that truly create a new creature in Messiah.
HaY'Did (The Friend) Ministries is not a Messianic (Jewish or non-Jewish) ministry. This ministry is open to all who seek spiritual truth and knowledge through the Jewish roots of Scripture. Not everything Jewish is Biblical, but everything Biblical is Jewish. As such, we seek to reestablish the knowledge practiced by first century Believers rather than hold to man-made doctrines and traditions that have crept into the Jewish faith and the Christian Hellenistic church. We ask that the New Testament (Brit Chadashah) be used by believers as our Oral Law; as a guide and determinant of what Believers observed during the first century.
Concerning the Nation of Israel. This ministry stands firmly with the Nation of Israel. HaY'Did does not support any form of replacement theology. We believe any doctrine that promotes any group or groups other than the Jews as more entitled to the Land of Israel, or as a replacement for Israel in any way is Scripturally unsound. We believe the Israel of today is a Jewish state and we respect it as such.
Concerning tithing: Compulsory tithing for the purpose of salvation is not recognized as Biblical. The use of coercion for the purpose of receiving tithes and offerings is an unacceptable practice. We believe the guiding principle for giving is in accordance with 2 Corinthians 9:6-9; one must be taught to be a cheerful giver, giving the proper amount as determined between an individual and God.
This ministry permits variations in belief concerning all areas of Biblical study, including eschatology, as long as these variations do not effect the salvation of an individual. We stand firmly upon the belief that salvation is by grace through faith (trust) in Messiah alone, and not as a result of works (Eph. 2:8,9).
This ministry expects all members and affiliate ministries to show mutual respect with regard for other members and their teachings. One teacher's doctrine will not be promoted over another teacher's doctrine. This ministry acts as a neutral clearing house for Jewish root materials. Each affiliate ministry must realize that in order for HaY'Did to serve all affiliate ministries equally, that HaY'Did may not promote one doctrine over another. As long as material contents, teachings, and art works are within the guidelines of the Tolerance Statement, Statement of Beliefs, Constitution and By-Laws of HaY'Did Ministries they will be honored. No hidden agenda or "writing between the lines" will be promoted, or tolerated. Any attempt to control HaY'Did will not be tolerated and is grounds for removal as an affiliate ministry or member. Scholarly discussion is encouraged. The heart of HaY'Did Ministries is to serve, not to promote.
The Biblical Jewish Feast Days represent a primary tool for teaching the Jewish roots and fulfill Scripture. Individuals may practice the Jewish Feast Days as God's Biblical Holy Days, but they may not impose their observance as a religious requirement for salvation, or as a necessary requirement for membership with this ministry.
Concerning days of worship: This ministry finds the most Biblically correct period for worship during the week is Friday evening to Saturday evening. HaY'Did acknowledges the right of its affiliate ministries and individual members to decide the day they choose to worship and/or teach. All HaY'Did affiliate ministries and members will tolerate such variation within this ministry not holding an attitude over any other affiliate ministry or member.
Concerning Christmas, Easter and Halloween: This ministry finds these holidays are derived from pagan origin, and that they retain most of their pagan practices. However, we do NOT consider an individual, family, or congregation as unsaved because they observe these holidays. We realize it will take time and proper teaching before one comes to comprehend the need to abandon these practices. We are tolerant in allowing individuals to seek this understanding for themselves without bondage, coercion, or condemnation. Individuals or ministries that choose to fellowship through the network of HaY'Did, or wish to submit their materials; articles, courses, or art works for publication or study may do so, but they are respectully requested to honor our Tolerance Statement in the content of their subject matter or art work. HaY'Did chooses not to distribute any materials or art works that condone these holidays.
Prior to attending any event sponsored by HaY'Did Ministries, the Statement of Faith, Tolerance Statement, Constitution and By-Laws must be reviewed. All potential participants must agree to abide by these guidelines. All attendees must agree to these guidelines as a needed platform in order to join with us in fellowship. Legalism, intolerance, and intimidation of forced conversion will not be permitted at any event sponsored by HaY'Did Ministries. HaY'Did reserves the right to remove any individual(s) from the premises who become disruptive or act in a manner of intolerance as stated by these guidelines. HaY'Did reserves the right to deny participation of any individual(s) or ministry that does not adhere with these guidelines. No coercion of attendees will be allowed in any form at Hay'Did events.
Affiliate Ministries or individual members that speak badly of other ministries or individual members will not be tolerated. This presents a stumbling block to beginners and plants a judgemental attitude in the hearts of Believers (Galatians 3:28).
