The Feltons Celebrate 18 Years Together

That's right! It has been 18 years on Valentine's Day. As many of you know, this date was selected to enable Randy to remember his wedding anniversary. We were off to dinner and some quality time before Randy headed to Amarillo for a couple of speaking engagements.

Everyone is doing fine here at home. Both Matt and Andy are back in school at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. I am told that things are going well, gradewise...we will see.

Betsy is very busy with her photo business and her senior girls discipleship group. She is still heavily involved with the youth at OLCC, as are Randy and Matt and will be going to Juarez, Mexico, in March with Randy and the youth group to build yet another house. Her two weekly Bible studies are her oasis in this busy schedule.

Randy is busy also: Amarillo to speak, Tulsa for the Heartland MissionsFest, a planning trip to North Carolina, and the Juarez trip yet to come. I am still trying to write some study materials and prepare another print shop to go to Moscow, Russia.

Israel: Two Trips in Two Months

Yes, two trips almost back to back. In December 1996, I went to the "Moshe to Mashiach Conference" held at the Mashav of Yad Hashmona. I stayed for a week to do some research and help Dr. Denton tour some of the people from the conference around Jerusalem. The second trip was in January to be in attendance for the wedding of Carolyn Bradley and Ian Jupp. The land was blessed with rain, and the new couple was joined together in the midst of much joy.

As reported last time I wrote, I went looking for three particular sites in Jerusalem: The base of the pinnacle of the Temple, the site of the dome of the Ascension, and the Kidron Valley floor. I visited all three sites with varied results. I located the excavations at the base of the pinnacle of the Temple and located where stone vats were found. The vats have been removed to a museum. I have yet to determine which museum, so I will need another trip with more time to search them out. I was told that there were vats found with soap residue, which gives credence to the story in "Foxes Book of Martyrs" concerning James, the brother of Jesus. Satan tried to get Jesus to jump from the pinnacle, and a few years later he succeeded in having His brother thrown off.

I also went to the Dome of the Ascension. I found a large flat area surrounding the dome but no sign of a depression or location of the site of the Red Heifer Sacrifice. There is a high wall surrounding the compound and a hotel located next door. I will need to visit the other side of the wall before I will be satisfied.

The next site is in the Valley of the Brook Kidron. At the invitation of two shepherds who were grazing their sheep and goats, I trampled all through the Christian cemetery located there. The only old stones visible are located about 30 yards to the north of where I think the foundation stones for the bridge should be located.

No one I could find had anything to add to my suspicions. The people associated with the Temple Institute know of no foundation stones that have been located as yet. The conference was an interesting exercise. There is as much dissension among the Messianic community as there is within the Church here. there is an agreement for them to begin to communicate and try to work together. This is a major hurdle for them. The believers in The Land need our prayer support. I have a detailed report compiled by Mark Surguey and Dr. Clifford Denton. If you would like a copy, please write or call, and I will see that you receive one for the cost of reproduction and postage. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they that love thee shall prosper. Psalm 122:6

Potter's Clay is Growing!

We have a new operation and staff member. Bart Evans has decided to become a part of our ministry and do printing and mission-planning full time. We have located a rental space and have moved all o four printing equipment into it.

Bart is setting up to do printing for local businesses and ministries. Ministries will be given a discount, and hopefully this will be a blessing to the local efforts.

After expenses and Bart's salary, the funds will be placed in an account to be used for the printing projects we are doing overseas. An orphanage in Moscow, Russia, is the current project. We have been asked to consider a print shop for similar circumstances in Bangalor, India, and possible Harare, Zimbabwe.

We welcome Bart and Debbie Evans into the family. We are looking forward to a long and healthy relationship. Please keep us all in your prayers concerning the task ahead.

Printing Project: Moscow, Russia - 1997

Here are the projected equipment and costs required for the printing project. Currently, we have about $12,000 in cash and donated equipment. Please pray with us for the Lord to move on the hearts of those who He would have participate in financing this and the other projects we are involved in.

Please contact me if you feel led to sow into this ministry by providing all or a portion of the expense. Remember, no gift is too large or too small.

We've had donated/purchased the following items: Good used printing press (Ryobi 3200CD Chief 217 - paid $3800 valued at $65000); 1 Tabletop Folder (donated and valued at $4500); 1 Tabletop Jogger (donated and valued at $450); 1 Graphics Camera to make plates (donated and valued at $2500); 1 Electrostatic Platemaker, #M Tabletop Model (donated and valued at $850); 1 Collator (T-fast 10, 10 Bay [donated and valued at $500]).
