As adults return to college in record numbers, Arkansas Institute
with its prepackaged notes and illustrated teaching methods is
suited to meet their educational needs. Since 1986, Dr. Ron
Moseley has traveled with and studied under some of the best
specialists in Hebrew language, culture, history, and
archaeology. Hailing from institutions in both Jerusalem and
America, including Princeton, the Hebrew University in Jerusalem,
the American Institute in Jerusalem, and the University of Texas.
With the information obtained from these handpicked specialists,
Dr. Moseley has brought back to the Arkansas Institute a
curriculum that is second to none in the study of Jewish culture.
Although we appreciate all the work done by the basic Christian colleges in the areas of general Bible knowledge, faith, and theology, the Arkansas Institute is constantly distancing itself from the basic courses that have been repeatedly over-taught in most Bible colleges. To this end, Arkansas Institute has dedicated itself to becoming a specialty school in Middle Eastern history using only the best scholarship.
Thanks to today's modern technology, the exact courses that are taught in class can also be offered on video for satellite school programs. Because of our two-camera system, our new courses have both the instructor as well as the slides/transparencies in the same picture making an excellent product for external education. In a recent article, the National Home Study Council reported that major research during the last 50 years has shown that home study students perform as well as, if not better than, resident trained students who studied the same subjects. We are happy to announce that all resident courses will be made available by home study, and that Arkansas Institute has been diligent both in finances and productivity to distinguish our satellite school program from the often encountered inferior and haphazard correspondence courses of other institutions.
Arkansas Institute was founded for the purpose of providing diverse and alternative methods of achieving a collegiate education of the highest quality in our field. One of our major concerns is to help mature and working adults, who otherwise would not have taken advantage of an educational opportunity due to non-academic reasons.
Second, our purpose is to create a system of college-level learning opportunities by organizing the best work of resident scholars and recognized non-resident professors into coherent degree strategies.
Third, our purpose is to make available educationally valid learning opportunities which serve as alternatives to and along with traditional classroom study and testing which are appropriate to the varied learning styles of adults.
Fourth, our purpose is to serve higher education and the public interest as a center of innovation, information, and availability for the latest research on Judaism, early Christian history, and the land of Israel.
Fifth, our purpose is to conduct the affairs of Arkansas Institute in a manner which will glorify the Lord, encourage general respect from the public, and afford the dignity to its students that will assure them access to the next institution of higher education as they continue their educational process to its fullest.
As an "administrator" of your own Arkansas Institute Satellite School, you will be an extension of what takes place here at The Institute each week. You will conduct classes that are just the same as those being taught within The Institute itself. You will give your students exams on the materials they have gathered throughout the semester. And eventually, you will conduct a graduation ceremony as your four-year students walk forward to receive their Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern History degree from the Arkansas Institute of Holy Land Studies.
It appears that the Lord is turning the hearts of the believers back to the love of His people and to the truth of the first century Church. We at the Institute feel it is our call to keep the Jewish roots "movement" on track with the most up-to-date and accurate information in this area. And we can do it through you As the hearts of pastors and laypeople around the world desire to know the truth, you and the Arkansas Institute will be there as a source for that information.
